“I live in Austin and have 3 jobs! I've been a corporate change management consultant for about 20 years. I also help women in midlife transition create a life they actually want to live.

In my spare time, I also rent rooms on Airbnb. I love singing and kayaking!

My home is a Feminine Sanctuary for health and rejuvenation. My #1 favorite thing to do in Austin is to kayak on Lady Bird Lake or walk the hike and bike trail around it.

The reason I moved to Austin 6 years ago was that I fell in love with Barton Springs and found a job at Dell so I could go to Barton Springs as often as possible. The irony is that I haven't made it there but a handful of times. The main reason is that it's a lot colder than I thought it would be and although it feels amazing on a hot summer day, it's so crowded during those times that I tend to avoid going. Then when the crowds are less, the water seems sooo cold. But it was beautiful and unique enough that I moved to Austin in part because of it!

One thing that surprised me about Austin is that there are wild flowers everywhere nearly year round! Coming from California, I had only heard about the Texas tumbleweeds in Amarillo from my dad. I had no idea that Austin was so gorgeous or that the rain mostly comes at night and leaves behind just flowers!
