Meet your host in Green Bay Wisconsin, USA
Hi HerHouse sisters! Priscilla here. I live on the northwest end of Green Bay, Wisconsin 1 mile away from the Broadway district which is one of my favorite areas. Lambeau Field, home of the NFL Packers is a 9 min car ride away. Howard, Ashwaubenon, De Pere, Allouez and Bellevue are all within 30 min by car offering a wide variety of dining, shopping, parks, etc.
My husband is a bus driver so is happy to offer you tips on local transit and we have a bus stop within 1 block of our house. Uber and Lyft are also available if you have not rented a car. A rented car will give you the most freedom and flexibility to explore further but you can certainly get far with public transportation and on foot.
Door County itself offers so many vacation tours, kayaking, cherry picking, etc. If you rent a car and go north to Egg Harbor (1hr 15min), Sturgeon Bay (45min), Algoma (40), Kewaunee (38), or south to Manitowoc (46), and Sheboygan (1hr 5m) all become very accessible for a day exploring lighthouses, state parks, and in the summer beaches. 1hr south is Oshkosh which has the EAA Aviation Museum which is worth checking out and if you can attend their yearly fly in it's worth it. If you're staying within GB borders Bird has started operating scooters so those can be fun way to get around.
I am currently self-employed as a videographer / photographer. I have a myriad of creative ideas I'm exploring.
For fun I enjoy
- Trying new restaurants and cuisines
- Kayaking
- State parks / light hiking
- Beaches - either swimming or reading
- Sunset watching, ideally by water!
- Reading fiction in my backyard or on a beach
- Writing
- Horseback riding
- Gardening or attempts at it
- Boutique, local, or thrift shopping
- Farmers Markets (Wednesday is a party, Saturday is business)
- Taking my dogs to the dog park
- Taking photos / video obviously
- Basic white girl things like Pinterest, Target, Starbucks, etc.
Zillow describes my home as a Cape Cod built in 1958. I think it's a cute house with a nice backyard and would describe decorating it as an eclectic attempt to mix boho / cottagecore / traditional / and modern. The second floor guest bedroom was completed in 2022 and is currently my favorite room in the house because I had been pinning ideas for years and finally got to execute on it. It has a queen bed, a corner chair, closet, and a desk for remote work. Guests will have that all to themselves with the other living areas being shared.

I would be happy to recommend local restaurants based on budget and cuisine. Based on how you want to spend your day, I could recommend parks and beaches as well. Green Bay is often associated with the Packers, beer, and cheese and I'm happy to help you have that experience too! It truly is a place where you can pick your own adventure. Can’t wait to host and show you around beautiful Green Bay!
