Meet your host in California, USA

Solo traveling can be a very scary experience. It doesn't matter how old you are, going out on your own to a new city or a new country takes guts.

If you've never done it but want to I want to introduce you to a sweet friend of mine and a host in our HerHouse community: Kayla.

"Hello! I am Kayla and I live in Potter Valley, California. It's a small agriculture town surrounded by beautiful hills and nestled near many lakes, great wine tasting and super close to the coastal Redwoods.

I'm a High School Agriculture Teacher, a Rancher, and an involved community member. My family has been in this town for 160 years and I love it. I do miss my renegade years of traveling, living and working around the United States and cannot wait to get out and travel again."

I've actually stayed with Kayla on her beautiful ranch on my way up the west coast in 2015. I'm thrilled to welcome her as one of our first hosts in California!
